Council sponsors the Child and Family Interagency. This is a network of agencies that provide services for families and children 0 to 8 years old in the Marrickville and Leichhardt local government areas and the suburb of Glebe.
Families NSW is the NSW Government's early intervention and prevention strategy to help parents give their children (0–8 years) a good start in life. The interagency is funded by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services. The broad aim and objective of the Families NSW strategy is to work through a collaborative and co-ordinated network of agencies to build the capacity of parents and carers to raise children.
